Legislata was created because, too often, we in the political world use Twitter as our newswire and end up seeing information we want to save but can’t easily. I experienced this in my time as a political risk analyst, then on a campaign again, and it’s one of the most common problems I hear when talking to people in our world.

Legislata is designed to make it easier to store and share information in a way that is more useful than a tweet that’s sent in a text and doesn’t require endless scrolling.

But there’s no way around the fact that Twitter is still a major source of our information. So we’re building a way to make the two work together.

With the @PostToLegislata bot, you can DM a tweet to @PostToLegislata, or tag @PostToLegislata in a reply to a tweet, and we’ll save it in your Legislata office. You can also add some text and we’ll store that in the Legislata post.

This way, important tweets you see can be instantly saved, shared, and commented upon. It lets your scrolling become more productive and ensures that your office will stay connected and up to date easily.
