What is the Legislata Beta Test?

Legislata is productivity software designed for people who work in politics. It’s new and - like all new software - we are putting it through an initial testing phase before general release.

This is designed to catch glitches and receive feedback on the product. Is there a button that doesn’t work or a color that is hard to read on your screen? We want to know that so we can fix it as soon as possible.

Why participate in the Beta Test?

If you’ve never been part of a beta test before, it may seem a bit pointless. We get to improve our product. But what do you get?

Being part of a beta program is usually done for one of three reasons:

  • Get a head start. The initial set of features are complete and the product is functional. Those in the beta have a chance to start to save time on their emails, better coordinate their office, and see what is going on with issues they care about before anyone else.

  • It’s free. Because we’re still tweaking the product, we don’t charge for being part of the beta. You get to use all the functionality of Legislata without the usual payments. We’ll give you a four-week notice before the beta program ends so you’ll have plenty of time to explore the product before any fee is necessary.

  • You can shape the product. Legislata is not stopping with the initial set of features you’ll see. We have a long road map of new elements we want to bring to our users. But first, we want to hear about what our users want most. If you’re part of the beta test, you’ll be at the core of the community helping to direct the growth of this product. If there’s something you really need to help your work, let us know and we’ll do our best to prioritize it.

How to participate in the beta test?

If you want to get started right away, you can go to app.legislata.com and create an account. The home page will show you how to use some of the features and you can also check out the tutorials at the bottom of this page.
